We planted 50 Red Emperor tulip bulbs on the afternoon of
October 29, 1998. It was cold and windy, and it started to sprinkle when we were working. We did the math before we went out, so we knew that we could each plant 2 bulbs and then another 1 with a friend. We knew how deep to plant them, how far apart, and which end should point up. We are very excited to be part of this project, and we can't wait until they start to come up in the spring.
