October 30th was an unusually warm day for Hopkins, MN. We planted 102 Red Emporer tulips around a tree in honor of Mrs. Richer, a first grade teacher who died of cancer in August. Of the 102 tulips, we planted one tulip upside down and another tulip about 3 inches from the surface of the dirt.
