We are having beautiful fall weather here in New England. It is perfect for planting bulbs. This year we tried something different. It is very difficult for our second graders to dig the required 7 inches in our clay and rocky soil. On Saturday, October 31'st, Glen Hills School was a host site for the RI State Wide Technology Day. We asked our guests to help dig. They dug a trench that was 15 yards and 30 inches long going right around our handicap parking lot. Then, we just popped the bulbs in and covered them. We're looking forward to seeing the flowers.
