Tulips PLANTED

Date: 11/05/1998

Number: 1

We finally have our 100 Red Emperor tulips planted in their winter home in our school courtyard. After a month of beautiful, warm fall days in October, the weather has turned cool and cloudy. High temperatures are in the 40's and night time temperatures dip below freezing. Winter is in the air! Many of the deciduous trees are bare. The mountains to the north of us have already received their first snowfall. Canada geese have been flying over head for the past several weeks. We are settling in for winter in the northeast.
