Signs of Fall

Date: 11/11/1998

Number: 1

The Sulfur butterflies are still here! They are attracted to the red flowers on the Pineapple Sage I planted this past Spring. The plant sends up long spikes of flowers in late fall. I have only seen Cloudless Sulfurs feeding on them. They also like the geraniums which bloom best in our cool fall weather.
I put out bird feeders last week. The Purple Finches and a few Tufted Titmouse (is the plural Titmice?) birds are here.
