We finally got our tulip bulbs in the ground last week on November 4th. We tried to plant them in the shape of the number 4 and the letter k because we are in fourth grade and our teacher is Mr. Kust. We saw a huge buck watching us the day we planted as our school is located near a small wooded area. It was clear and cool the day we planted and we were worried about it being too dry, until we got about 3 inches of rain this week! Other parts of the state around us got up to 15 inches of snow, but it stayed above freezing here. We hope to see them emerge next spring and look forward to reading other reports from other sites! From Mr. Kust's fourth graders.
