We planted our tulips on Friday, October 30 1998. We planted them in two raised beds in front of our school, Jackson Magnet. The day was cool, cloudy, and a little windy. Air temperature was 52 F. The soil temp. was 50 F. We watered them well. We will cover them with straw when the ground is really frozen. We are looking at the different site's weather every week to help us predict where the tulips will come up first. We also plan to give our info to everyone else, and would like to become penpals with another site.
