Tulips PLANTED

Date: 11/03/1998

Number: 1

Our goals are to involve the children in learning through questioning,
exploring, and discovering. Our students had quite an experience digging
the holes in the garden. Mrs. Rienstra's class thought they found a
dinosaur egg - only to discover they had dug up potatoes planted the
previous spring! In our digging, we found several earthwoms and an acorn
buried deep! The children learned how to use a trowl, a ruler, and
thought the tulip bulbs looked like huge chocolate chips! Thanks to Joel
for our recent in-service! We've had trouble getting onto your website at
school. When we have better luck, I'm going to change the e-mail address
so we get the reports at school. Thank you! Karen Graves
