Tulips PLANTED

Date: 11/16/1998

Number: 1

Our third grade class planted a bed of eighteen tulips around the tree in the school's front lawn. It was a beautiful fall day. The sky was sunny and blue, and the temperature was 64 degrees.
We are having unusually warm days for November. The temperature is dropping to the low forties at night. The normal average daytime high for this time of the year in southern Illinois is around the mid-fifties.
