We are still observing Monarchs down here, this morning I went out to the country and I was able to tag 40 butterflies. In the afternoon I saw a couple mating and a dozen flying.
I think that the butterfly migration is dispersed all over the migration route in México. The Correo Real watchers have reported me depredation on Monarchs by "urracas" (magpie) I found several butterflies without head, and many punctured by birds.
