The third graders in Mrs. Nosal's class at Veazie Street School encountered many grubs and earthworms as we dug in to plant the tulip bulbs. We have been working with art education students from the Rhode Island School of Design and they helped us plant our bulbs . While we were planting we were also working on finishing the glazing of our stoneware butterflies which will be displayed in our tulip garden, commemorating our participation in the symbolic migration as well as our work with JN/science/art. It was a busy day!
