The day we planted our bulbs was breezy and mild, weather we refer to as Indian Summer. We planted a dozen Red Emperor bulbs on the west side of our school building. We also planted some in our school's Memorial Garden, located on the southwest side of our building. We are interested to see the difference in times of emergence and blooming. We also decided to plant Dutch bulbs to add splashes of color throughout the school grounds. Plus...our teacher GOOFED and originally bought the Dutch bulbs instead of the Red Emperors. OOPS!
