Fifty sixth grade students spent the morning planting 100 tulip bulbs along with 50 daffodils. They were planted in the bird garden on the northwest side of the school. Some were also planted in the butterfly garden on the hill which is on the northeast side of the building. The students dug holes, and then put fertilizer and bone meal in with four bulbs before carefully covering them back up. The school newspaper came out to take pictures and write an article for the November issue of the Knight Times.
