The weather in Alliance has been exceptionally warm for the last two weeks. So we were able to plant 52 Red Emperor tulip bulbs on December 4th. We worked in groups to dissect and sketch diagrams of tulips. Then we measured the tulips' weight in grams using balance scales and measured their circumference using string and rulers. Our teacher gave us each two tulip bulbs to plant at our homes. We are looking forward to watching them emerge from the ground in the spring and bloom.
