Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 12/16/1998

Number: 1

During the last two weeks, we students in Ms. Fox and Mrs. Payne's classes at West University Ele. have been surprised to have more monarchs arrive so late in the season to our wildlife sanctuary. We have seen 6 adults, about 15 larva, and 5 pupa. The temperature has been in the 40's at night and 60's in the day with rain last week and sun this week. We wonder if the monarchs will make it to adulthood and to Mexico. Should we bring the larva and pupa inside?
