Here in Minneapolis, MN we had a major influx of southbound robins the week after Christmas. At my home, there were 13 robins on my roof! It was the only place they could find without snow. Flocks of them were moving through our yard for several days, eating fruit from berry trees--and inspecting our compost pile.
