Robin (First SEEN)

Date: 01/09/1999

Number: 1

We have had several hundred robins living in the forests on our farm for about a month. I have a bird feeder that I maintain during the winter months for all of the birds that stay here when its cold and have observed robins feeding on the seed that falls to the ground underneath the feeder. Most years, the robins will come through here on their way to Mexico for the winter, staying only about a month or so. These robins are the "second wave" of birds this winter and are in no apparent hurry to leave. They are their usually garulous selves.
