In December, early to mid, there were robins in the hundreds to thousands in the Pinyon-Juniper country in the Sedona area, especially along the drainages, and east and west of I-17. This was a very good year for juniper berries, esp. the One-seed Juniper, with the pink berries, probably due to above average precipitation well distributed thru the year. A week ago, there were 40 that came to a bath/water source in my back yard in Flagstaff, unusual for this time of the year and elevation. We've had a very mild winter so far, little snow and above avg temps.
