Dear Journey North,

We were very surprised to find that our tulips have emerged this early. We had predicted they would emerge in March. We used our digital camera to take a picture of the emerged tulip. We will take pictures each day we are in school. We dug up a three year old tulip bulb to look at its roots and the bulb. We were surprised that the bulb and the roots were so small.
