Greetings from eastern Ontario- the sap ran yesterday in my sugar bush just east of Madoc Ontario. My cubs were out for a winter hike and the temperature was -4 and very sunny. We came upon a young maple that had been damaged and we were very surprised to see sap flowing from the wound. We have not tapped any trees yet. We will keep you posted!
