All Other Signs of Spring

Date: 02/02/1999

Number: 1

I had first noticed tulips up in my yard over Christmas break. I do not know the species. They are up about 3inches now and still look alive and well. It got cold in January, but they were protected by snow which we received at the very end of Dec. I will be interested in seeing how the late warm fall effects them.

Today, I have many different varieties of species emerging on the south side of my house.

Sincerely, Harrison County Conservation Board Naturalist,
