Saw a small flock of robins (maybe 6) about 5 mi. from Bakersville, around noon on 2/2/99; sunny (w/few clouds), temps. low 50s. Many bluebirds (but they've been here most of the winter); yellow-rumped warblers (many!) observed beginning c. 1/28/99.
