Tex Mid-coast 2-8-99: The weekend of Jan 30&31, we brought in 28 Monarch larvae (3rd-5th instars) off backyard A. curassavica. This Past week (Feb 1-7), brought in 19 large larvae ... released 8 Monarchs at home and 1 at school ... have 35 chrysalides that will eclose over the next two weeks. Thursday we found over two dozen eggs and today (Mon.) found over a dozen eggs. Six of ten eggs we brought in to check for fertility have hatched (3 Monarchs and 3 Queens)...
