Robin (First SEEN)

Date: 02/08/1999

Number: 1

Yesterday 4 robins arrived in a flock of migrating cedar waxwings, which also contained gold finch and pine siskin. We have set out dried cranberries in a feeder on a stump next to the bird bath, which they seem to enjoy. Otherwise they appear to be feeding on the elms which have budded prematurely due to unseasonably warm temperatures. They are also foraging the ground area. Lots of bird activity for February!
