I spotted my first robin of the year in the midst of a major snowstorm flying from a boxelder tree. Since then I have spotted 2 to 3 each week even though our snow cover has only melted recently. The largest group contained three birds after the ground was finally exposed. I have seen no worms or heard any singing as yet.
