Earthworm (FIRST sighted)

Date: 02/11/1999

Number: 1

We had a 70 degree day yesterday, and there were several insect species out, including common house flies, flour moths, cabbage butterflies, and stink beetles. Red-tailed hawks, Canada Geese, Blue jays, Robins, Cardinals, and Eastern Bluebirds are out. So far, I've spotted one hawk, 20 Geese, eight jays, 4 robins, three cardinals, and flocks of up to 60 eastern bluebirds.
The worms were driven out of their holes by the steady rains we've been having, but they remained active due to the good weather.
