Robin (First SEEN)

Date: 02/14/1999

Number: 1

On a valentine days morning at 9:00 a.m. with a strong south wind and a temperature of 30 F a friend and I riding along a city street near our school were surprized to see a flock of at least 10 robins walking about the lawn. Last week we had a warmer than average week and on Thursday temperatures changed from 62 F a record high to 25 F by that evening. It may be that just prior to this incredible temperature swing that robins arrived and were fooled by the weather.I hope they find enough food untill things warm up.
