I am a Master Gardener and we are creating a Native Butterfly Habitat of 2,000 Sq. Ft. plus restore flower and host plants in and around the City of Scottsburg, Indiana. I have contacted the school systems here and we are planning on using the area as an Enviromental Education Area. We will be teaching all aspects of the Monarch life cycle and migration. The program will educate the children of our schools about the importance of Habitat Restoraiton and Enviromental Responsibility. We will be giving each child an embroidered Patch of the Monarch Butterfly.
