Dear Journey North:
We have had a very strange winter. The weather was unseasonable warm just pass Christmas. (A very green Christmas) Then the weather turned very cold for about three weeks. We were afraid the tulips would not do well. So far this year's garden has emerged with healthy looking shoots. Last year's bulbs are planted near the school building and they seem to be doing well too. Our nurse and school secretary enjoy the tulips and are also very excited about the emerging shoots.
