Derek Wilson reports that he saw his first robin of the year this morning around 7am (03/03/99). Later, around 8am he heard his first robin singing, it was a male. Later,around 10am he saw his first robin wave, of approx. 10 robins, mostly males, however a few females were included in the count (around 2). The previous day 03/02/99), he observed the first earthworms of the year, approximately 6, under a rock but on the surface of the dirt. Alot of springtime occurances in 24 hours!!
