Practice Report (Any Species)

Date: 03/08/1999

Number: 1

Unrelated to any catagories above, our early signs of spring seem to have vanished with the arrival of more snow here in Wisconsin. Tulips which emerged weeks ago have been stalled, the Root River which had thawed is now once again frozen. I'm not sure where the common mergansers have gone. They were enjoying the open water until this weekend. Geese are stymied by the ice and looking for open water. We set out cranberries for the shivering robins which arrived several weeks ago. We are expecting alot of snow to arrive in the next few days.
