Robin (First SEEN)

Date: 03/08/1999

Number: 1

Eight students in Mrs.Lee's 2nd-3rd grade class at Irving Elementary School in Bozeman, MT observed robins in the Irving School neighborhood on Monday, March 8th. Very chilly robins they must be for we still have snow on the ground and the temperature at night falls to the low 20's F. It got down to -13 F in West Yellowstone over the weekend. No sign of our Red Emperor Tulips yet; but neighbors have told us that the tulips on the south sides of their homes are beginning to cautiously poke their heads out of the ground.
