We also have had robins over-wintering in unusual
numbers - 1500 in one flock in late January.

It's pretty hard to tell if robins we see have been here all winter or have
just arrived, but I can tell you that today I heard the beautiful sound
of a full-throated song.

No earthworms, so far, we still have several feet of snow.
