Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 03/20/1999

Number: 1

Three monarchs appeared at the same time while I was working in my butterfly garden. Verbena is the only flower truely in bloom.
The milkweed only has buds. The monarchs kept going over to the azalea bushes which are just finishing their bloom for this spring. The monarchs all had good color, were good size and their wings were in good shape.
