On a weekend of Bald Eagle watching We were scanning the tree tops when we noticed a large nest in the fork of a tree on the egdge of an island in the Hudson River near Hudson NY. Just as I noticed it I also caught a glimpse of a mature bald eagle fly into the nest. Upto this time I wasnt aware of any eagles nesting in this area
