After a mild winter, I spotted two or three robins on a front yard in Newton, NH, on Feb 20th. It was a mild sunny day - for February.
The following week we were hit with stormy weather and then we had two Northeasters. I didn't see any more robins until, March 12th. At that time I saw at least 5 robins on a tree during a Northeaster. They seemed entirely out of place.
On Saturday, March 20th, I saw large groups of robins on lawns in the Kingston area (the town north of Newton).
