Tulips EMERGED

Date: 03/24/1999

Number: 1

Finally, the tulips have broken ground. After a long, long, winter my class finally observed the first signs of Spring. The oohs and ahs were a joy to hear. The snow has finally melted and lo and behold there were these little reddish and green leaves popping out of the ground. They are about two inches high. Thank you so much for allowing us to participate. We are also learning quite a bit about this wonderful country we live in, with every update we run to the map and put another pin in to show the locations of the newest gardens.
