There are alligators everywhere in the swamps. In my last trip to Savannah wildlife refuge, 12 gators seen in the canals. The most amazing sight so far was a pair of Ospreys on a nest with one individual offering fish to the bird sitting on the nest. These 2 have set up ouse on the pilings of a turnstile bridge within 200 yds of downtown Beaufort.
