A large flock of 75+ sandhill cranes was circling trying to enter the upper air currents. Soon they were out of sight but their calls could still be heard. Three pairs of sandhill cranes are back in their nesting areas. My crocus is also in bloom. Bleeding hearts, peonies and tea roses are sending out shoots. Red winged black birds are starting to appear in nesting areas. Several turkey vultures have been sighted.Pairs of geese have been seen in their nesting areas.
