Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 04/04/1999

Number: 1

A City Parks and Recreation Employee, spotted the first
Monarch in Honor Heights Park today, at 3:15. The Monarch
was bright and showed no signs of wear and tear.
It was spending it's time near the flowering crab apple
trees.

The workers have been in the park all week preparing for
our annual Azalea Festival, and this was the first sighting
by any of them. I was notified about 30 minutes after
the sighting.
