Tulips emerged today at the Journey North Headquarter's official JN garden. Because we've had such a warm winter, I expected them earlier. However, the garden was buried under a 2 ft' snowdrift left by the big snowstorm on March 9--this seemed to delay them.

This is the 4th year the garden has been planted in exactly the same place. Here are past year's emergence dates:
