Tulips BLOOMED

Date: 03/19/1999

Number: 1

For the last 3 years our tulips have bloomed during Spring Break and it happened again! We had one tulip in bloom on 3/19. Kayland, Shane and James checked during the break and all of our tulips were in bloom by March 27. Last fall a pesky gopher tunneled through our tulip bed and ruined an extra experiment. We planted one tulip upside down, one sideways, one 9" deep and we split one in half and layed the two halves together. The gopher destroyed our markings so we only know that 3 of the 4 bloomed a week after the other tulips. We don't know which one didn't bloom.
