We observed groups of 5 to 9 robins in the same general area day after day. Now we are seeing a much lighter colored robin and only one or sometimes two, of the others. We think the larger groups were "bachelors" and now that the ladies have shown up they are beginning to pair off. In the early morning we are hearing much more singing.
