At Presqu'ile Provincial Park near Brighton, Ontario on April 3/99, the annual Presqu'ile Waterfowl Festival continued with over 5000 ducks, geese and swans from 22 species resting and feeding in Presqu'ile Bay.

First sightings were made for Caspian tern, American bittern, swamp and field sparrows. Many woodcock are doing nuptial displays in the night. Several tree swallows were seen as was a barn swallow.

Over the two weekends of the Festival (5 days), 8000 people came to the park!
