I was on vacation during my Spring Break last week (March 29 to April 4). Before I left I checked my milkweed plants and there were no monarchs. Today I checked them and there are 5 monarch caterpillars on them that were not noticed before we left. Obviously a monarch butterfly was here. There are 3 large caterpillars on the white milkweed and 2 smaller ones on the regular milkweed.
