The American Goldfinch are in full summer colour and "very active"
April 7/99 First loon (actually two) sighted in Magnetawan, Ont. (14 kms West of Burk's Falls).
Apr 2/99 crocus are out
Apr 9/99 still some snow, but only in areas that get little sun and where winds blow into drifts.
Apr 9/99 not many birds coming to feeders now.
Am going out to do yardwork now, so will report tomorrow on bulb progress. There is some, but have to identify which ones.
