Anne Michalski reported seeing her first monarch in Oklahoma city, Oklahoma. The wind was blowing hard - about 40 mph. The butterfly appeared fresh. The butterfly may have been attracted to many flowering plants such as holly, pansies, tulips, hyacinths and pyrocantha in her garden. It seemed to fly back and forth around her yard.
