Practice Report (Any Species)

Date: 04/10/1999

Number: 1

Aprox at 9:30 AM on date, we saw a male Monarch (spots on hind-wings) flying over the blooms in our garden, sucking on the nectar. We then kept a tighter watch for more individuals,
on a random pattern we saw aprox 20 individuals flying by in our sight area, some stopping at the flowers, we didn't see them in the afternoon . We spotted scattered individuals, not in the dense formations as we saw them on fall of 98 , going south ( sorry dont recall date). Saturday was a warm sunny day !
On sunday 11th , just saw one individual in my mother's garden
some 5 miles from my home, no sightings in our area, day was
overcast and colder than Sat.
