Saturday, April 3, l999. Three monarch butterflies appeared at Shadow Lake in Greenwood, Arkansas at 10:30a.m. which was about an hour after a thunderstorm ( the sun had just come out). The temp that day was 70-75. Greenwood is 18 miles SE of Ft. Smith, AR.
