First eggs were laid over the weekend of April 3 & 4 in backyard milkweed.

Sighted first ragged-looking monarch last week (3/31/99) in downtown Baton Rouge. As of April 2, monarchs are coming through in small numbers, and have seen 6 during the last few days.
